Notice from the North 43 Lagoon Commission
Please be advised that construction activities for the Wastewater Collection System will continue this Spring with pressure testing of all wastewater transmission and collection commencing the week of April 10, 2017. Tyschuk Construction Ltd. has obtained Alberta Environment and Parks approval for utilizing lake water for all pressure testing. All water used for pressure testing will be discharged to North 43 Lagoon Commission wastewater treatment facility.
The Commission will keep informing you of the progress of the project and when services connections may be made to the overall system.
Beginning this spring, cleanup from last fall's construction throughout the Summer Village will begin. The frost needs to first be out of the ground and the ground dried up enough for the contractor to be able to work with the dirt/soil. We have been advised by the North 43 Lagoon Commission that remediation and cleanup of areas within the Summer Village that are as a direct result of the sewer project will commence on or about May 23rd, 2017.
Please contact the Summer Village's North 43 Lagoon Consultant if you have any areas of concern: Joe Blakeman 780-918-1916
Construction will begin effective September 13, 2016 and continue until October 25, 2016, assuming conditions are ideal. The construction will start on 2nd street and go up towards 7th street (East to West).
If You Have Questions or Concerns During Construction - Contact Joe Blakeman 780-918-1916
A reminder that the North 43 Lagoon Construction project contractors have been hired on behalf of the North 43 Lagoon Commission to which the Summer Village is a member. The contractors are performing their duties as assigned by the North 43 Lagoon Commission. Please refrain from approaching the construction workers or the construction site as there is excavation work being performed and this could put both yourself and the construction worker(s) in an unsafe situation.
If you have questions, concern or issues during this construction period, please contact the Summer Village of Yellowstone's North 43 Lagoon Project Consultant: Joe Blakeman at 780-918-1916
Your cooperation in this matter is appreciated!
